New Equipment Fielding Technician

Technica LLC seeks to fill a New Equipment Fielding Technician position to perform on a Government contract with a place of performance at Ft. Richardson, AK.
1)     Job Description. Serves as a multi-disciplinary management specialist and liaison engaged primarily in the coordination and facilitation of New Equipment Fielding (NEF) and New Equipment Training (NET) related activities in support of USARAK units and installation support agencies. Position also provides analysis and management support in other areas such as Reset, Recap, general material readiness, etc. as required/requested by the customer. Services provided span a wide range of functional areas including logistics, supply, training, winterization, and technical aspects of military equipment.

2)     Responsibilities:
a)     Reviewing various information sources such as materiel fielding plans, authorization documents (MTOEs/BOIPs/SAs), training schedules, PBUSE consolidated property lists (CPLs), etc. to determine organizational authorizations, identify equipping and training requirements, and ensure resources are delivered in the correct quantities and configurations.
b)     Establishing and maintaining contact with Department of the Army (DA) Program Managers (PMs), gaining units, and other stakeholders in order to develop plans to address equipping and training requirements in accordance with DA fielding plans, Unit Set fielding (USF) and Total Package Fieldings (TPF) concepts, and Army policy.
c)     Preparing, reviewing, proving recommendations on and/or staffing documentation including mission support plans (MSPs), Material Fielding Agreements (MFAs), schedules, distribution lists, etc.
d)     Coordinating and monitoring equipment shipments into USARAK CRP warehouses/yards and subsequently to unit locations for issue and training use.
e)     Synchronizing and facilitating the execution of NEF/NET activities in close cooperation with stakeholders and providing recommendations to optimize the efficient and cost effective flow of assets and related training.
f)      Monitoring NEF/NET processes to maintain visibility, capture lessons learned, and resolve problems occurring before, during, and after NEF/NET.
g)     Providing oversight of visiting Material Fielding and Training Teams and coordinating for locally provided winterization, de-processing, repair, fielding and training support and de-conflicting facility and resource utilization.
h)     Preparing supply documents, issuing equipment, assisting unit accountable officers, USARAK G4 and others in establishing and maintaining property accountability and visibility, and ensuring that completed NEF/NET activities are properly documented.
i)      Participating in the development and use of knowledge management systems and procedures to monitor, analyze, and document new equipment fielding, training, and related activities and to capture lessons learned.
j)      Performing additional analysis and management support tasks as deemed appropriate by the USARAK G4.
