Travel Clerk III (PPSO)

Technica LLC seeks to fill a Travel Clerk III position to perform on a Government contract with a place of performance in Ft. Bliss, TX. 
The duties and responsibilities of the Travel Clerk III: Perform transportation duties to facilitate government sponsored personal property shipments. Serves as a tier level team member in duties and tasks involving receipt, storage, issue and shipment of personal property. This position uses some subject‐matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The Travel Clerk II selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically); verifying reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints. The Travel Clerk II may also direct lower level clerks. Refer recognized problems to Lead and/or Supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintain a safe work record. 
• High School diploma or equivalent. • Must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. • Must possess excellent mathematical, written and verbal communication skills. • Familiar with Department of Defense Transportation and Travel Regulations • Must be able to read, interpret, comprehend, retain, and execute pertinent Travel regulations. • Must be able to operate keyboard, controlled data entry devices, typewriter and other office machines Past experience requires 2 years minimum expertise in multiple computer software programs. Experience in the operation of all office machines required. • Extremely customer focused and ability to multi-task.
 • Ability to brief small and large groups of people.
