Warehouse Specialist Supervisor

Location: Red River, Texas
Technica seeks to fill the position of Warehouse Specialist Supervisor at Red River, TX

Duties:
  • Oversees the storage and distribution operations.
  • Directs employees engaged in receiving, storing, issue, shipment and distribution of a variety of bin and bulk materials, equipment, and commodities using automated and manual material moving equipment, devices, and systems.
  • Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on workload projections on weekly or monthly bases.
  • Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager.
  • Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
  • Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.
  • Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract.

Requirements:
  • Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS. 
  • Experience shall include as a minimum three (3) years’ experience in distribution and warehousing using DSS or equivalent automated Warehouse Management System (WMS) within the past five (5) years.
