Warehouse Specialist - HMSO

Location: Fort Wainwright, Alaska
Technica LLC seeks to fill the positions of Warehouse Specialist - Hazardous Material Supply Office (HMSO) at Fort Wainwright, Alaska
·        Assist Supervisor as required.
·        Responsible for verifying the quantity of items received against invoices.
·        Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inventories.
·        Fulfilling orders, packaging Hazardous Material items for shipment and arranging delivery and pickups.
·        Understanding large-scale organization systems.
·        Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
·        Meeting physical requirements, such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods.
·        Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word to transcribe information into a clear and understandable format.
·        Work as a member of a team.
·        Perform other duties as assigned.
·        Minimum 2 years’ experience using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and handcarts.
·        Minimum 2 years’ experience working with Hazardous Materials.
·        Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse operations and inventory control systems.
·        HAZWOPER and HAZCOM certification is preferred.
·        Must have experience with all Microsoft Office products.
·        Must have excellent skills in verbal and written communications.
·        Must have the ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
·        Must be capable to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within the available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.
·        Must be able to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
·        Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
·        Subject to random drug testing on an unannounced basis.
·        Must possess a current state driver’s license.
