Supply Technician - HMSO

Location: Ft Wainwright, Ft Greely, & Ft Richardson, Alaska
Technica seeks to fill the positions of Supply Technician - Hazardous Material Supply Office (HMSO) at FT Greely, FT Wainwright and FT Richardson, AK.
·        Assist Supervisor as required.
·        Responsible for management of all Government furnished property for the HMSO project.
·        Ensures all property management procedures and associated official records are maintained under the terms of the contract, OHSA, Environmental, and government requirements
·        Executes the ordering, receipt, storage, transfers, and disposal of hazardous materials
·        Prepares weekly and monthly reports to the supervisor
·        Performs audits to ensure property and records are properly maintained
·        Enters all Property records into GCSS-Army as required
·        Enters all Hazardous Material tracking records into EESOH-MIS
·        Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word to transcribe information into a clear and understandable format.
·        Perform other duties as assigned.
·        Minimum 2 years’ experience using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and handcarts
·        Minimum 2 years’ experience working with Hazardous Materials
·        Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse operations
·        Must have the ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others
·        Must be capable to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within the available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work
·        Must be able to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress
·        Experience in Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS) is recommended
·        Experience utilizing the Global Combat Supply Support- Army (GCSS-A) systems are recommended
·        Must have experience with all Microsoft Office products
·        Must have excellent skills in verbal and written communications
·        Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
·        Subject to random drug testing on an unannounced basis.
·        Must possess a current state driver’s license
·        HAZWOPER and HAZCOM certification is preferred
