Project Supervisor

Location: Germersheim, Germany
Technica LLC seeks to fill the position of Project Supervisor position for DLA Distribution Warehousing Operations in Germersheim, Germany.


  • The Project Supervisor shall be able to provide overall supervision for contractor employees, to include, but not limited to; planning and managing the project professionally, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources; ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided; effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of the labor-hour services ordered; ensure cost saving factors and quality controls are used to ensure work is performed as scheduled, and at a fair and reasonable cost.
  • Planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling all operations of the DLA task order.
  • Ensure successful completion of all mission operations in accordance with established policies and management goals regarding funding, storage, workload, manpower capability, component, issue, equipment items, and inventory control procedures.
  • Performs employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel reporting.
  • Reviews and approved timesheets.
  • Screen applicants and conducts interviews for open position.
  • Ensures all employees observe policy, procedures and regulatory guidance for physical security, and monitors for compliance

  • Minimum (4) years of experience within DLA distribution as Government or Contractor supporting Distribution Operations.
  • Must be on-site during the performance of the task order and must possess the basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the project and shall be qualified to be the Contractor’s on-site supervisor and POC for government representatives.  
  • Respond to all communications, upon notification, and be on-site to meet with Government personnel within 1 hour during normal duty hours and within 2 hours outside of normal duty hours. Ensure compliance with APLs, address out-of-scope and/or non-routine operational issues and actions (in coordination with TPOC, COR and KO).
  • Authorize/Approves travel requests; training; use of temporary or part-time staff to fulfill vacancies and/or surge support needs
  • Ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
  • Skill in written and oral presentations.
  • Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing Task Order or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.
  • Ability to establish project objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
  • Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.
  • HAZMAT experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.
  • Must have the capability and training to receive, issue, and prepare for shipment hazardous materials.  Requires successful completion of OSHA compliance training and Hazardous Materials Preparer Certification IAW Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) Part II, Cargo Movement, Chapter 204-7, Training, DLAI 4145.3 Preparing Hazardous Material for Military Air Shipment, and DLAI 1307 Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Training for Packaging and Transportation Personnel Process Guidance. Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS.
