Supply Supervisor (SSA-Temporary)

Technica is accepting applications for the position of Supply Supervisor (SSA-Temporary) at Fort Bliss, TX.

Duties:    
  • Manage day-to- day issues and activities.
  • Attend scheduled and unscheduled meetings and briefings.
  • Be the Contractor’s on-site supervisor and POC for Government representatives.
  • Provide overall supervision for Contractor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the project professionally.
  • Ensure that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.
  • Ensure that accurate and timely reports are provided.
  • Screen applicants and conduct interviews for open positions.
  • Perform employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel reporting.
  • Review and approves timesheets.

Requirements
 
  • Must have at least five years of supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in warehouse operations.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and equipment management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective accountability of all assigned property. Additionally, thorough knowledge of analytical techniques and causative research skills to identify areas of needed emphasis to recommend improvements.
  • Must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply systems to include GCSS-A and CMOS.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have the ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
  • Must have excellent skills in written and oral presentations.
  • Must have capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.
  • Must have the ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment including working in hot, dusty, windy areas for prolong time periods.
 
Physical Demands
  • Be capable of climbing and working on equipment at a 10 feet above ground limit
  • Be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 70 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 40 pounds
  • Must be able to climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment
  • Must be able to stand for at least two continuous hours
  • Must be able to work in cramped areas for at least two continuous hours
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, and snow and sleet
