Maintenance Logistician Developer

We are currently recruiting to fill a Master Logistician Developer position to perform on a Government contract with a place of performance at Ft. Richardson, Alaska.

  • Developing supply, maintenance and transportation policy and/or procedures for program of instruction.
  • Responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner and working with logistical staff to ensure accuracy of program of instruction (POI) descriptions. If you have previous experience as a Technical Writer in the logistical industry, we encourage you to submit an application.
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
  • Reviewing installation logistic activities to enhance the program effectiveness.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
  • Documenting operating controls to eliminate fraud and/or waste local operating conditions.
  • Documenting operations and/or systems improvements for effectiveness of the mission.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must have and be able to maintain a SECRET security clearance. 
  • Must have five (5) years’ experience in management and supervision of Army logistics programs. 
  • Must have five (5) years’ experience in management of tasks involving the sustainment and maintenance of all Army supplies and equipment. 
  • Must possess communication skills sufficient to clearly and succinctly correspond, orally and in writing, with senior Army leaders. 
  • The incumbent of this test-designated position is subject to random drug testing on an unannounced basis as a condition of employment under the Expanded Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Civilian Drug Testing Program.
  • Subject to random drug testing on an unannounced basis.
  • Must possess a current state driver's license.
