Supply Supervisor (980K)

Location: Fort Bliss, Texas
Technica LLC is accepting applications for a  Supply Supervisor position to perform on a Government Contract with a place of performance under Ft. Bliss, TX.  This is a temporary position.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day technical inspections of equipment/items for acceptance.  Attend scheduled and unscheduled meetings and briefings.  Ensure a joint equipment inventory on COIE/BII is performed.  Track generated MROs to gaining DEPOT and arrange shipment of directed items.  Be the Contractor’s on-site Supervisor and POC for Government representatives.  Provide overall supervision for Contractor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the 980K project professionally, providing supervision for additional supply operations to include property book and  arms room supply support.  Ensure that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.  Ensure that accurate and timely reports are provided.  Screen applicants and conduct interviews for open positions.  Perform employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel reporting.  Review and approves timesheets.
 
Required Qualifications:
 
The ideal candidate must be extremely customer focused and capable of short range planning, analysis, and the ability to understand the processing of parts and also have the following additional requirements traits:
  • A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines
  • An understanding of the needs of the organizations serviced and their overall mission completion concerns
  • Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary data, to establish the applicable facts
  • Take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of systematic established guidelines.
  • Must have several years of experience in and with military supply and logistics systems at the Brigade or above levels
  • Demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using US Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS) and computer automation equipment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance to perform duties and attend classified meeting and briefings, this is a minimum requirement as the senior supply operations supervisor
  • Performs other duties and additional duties as assigned
  • Must possess a civilian driver’s license
 
Desired Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor or higher degree in business, management, logistics or the equivalent civilian/military service schools graduations or prior supervisory experience (normally 8 plus years) to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related tasks.

Physical Effort: 
  • Performs some duties in a high stress office environment based on mental abilities and decision making with very little actual physical effort required
  • Performs considerable amounts of duties in a warehouse or storage yard under the below listed working conditions
  • Must be capable of multiple tasking and organizing work force to perform missions that may require the supervisor to do a limited physical demonstrative example of tasks required to complete the mission
 
Working Conditions:
  • Performs most duties in an office environment with suitable climatic controls and normal office equipment
  • Is required to consistently perform duties in a warehouse or storage yard or in field or storage area consisting of dusty, dirty and possible hazardous materials exposure.
