Technica LLC seeks to fill a Ground Support Worker Lead position to perform on a Government contract with a place of performance at Ft. Bliss, TX. This is temporary position with a period of performance of 9 months with the possibility of an extension.

  • Under general direction of the Assistant Supervisor, provide oversight of personnel.
  • Assists the Assistant Supervisor in managing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of approximately 300 pieces of MILITARY power generation equipment.
  • Directly responsible for the shop, equipment designated and work orders assigned.
  • Issue work assignments and ensure completion is completed on time and to published standards.
  • Organizes maintenance workflow efficiency, troubleshooting and repairs; assist power generation mechanics with these tasks as necessary.
  • Ensures all employees observe policy, procedures and regulatory guidance for physical security, and monitors for compliance.
  • Ensures that safety and environmental policies and guidelines are followed without exception.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least a minimum 1 years of supervisory experience, a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in The Army Maintenance Management Systems (TAMMS).
  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret US Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply systems utilized, specifically the GCSS-A.
  • Ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
  • Must be able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language skills
  • Must have knowledge in completing necessary documentation such as DA Forms 2404/5988E Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, DA Form 2407 Maintenance Request, DA Form 2407–1 Maintenance Request Continuation Sheet.
