Supply Technician (PDTE)

Location: Ft. Bliss, TX
Technica LLC seeks to fill a Supply Technician (PDTE) position to perform on a Government contract with a place of performance at McGregor Range Camp, New Mexico.
This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities focused on the Pre-Deployment Equipment Training (PDTE) project. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require:
  • an excellent working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines;
  • an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; especially reserve units preparing for deployments;
  • analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines

Other duties as assigned or related to the overall operation of the section/branch that the position is assigned to perform in.
  • Must have High School diploma or GED equivalent, Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Former US Army MOS 92A or 92Y preferred.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have experience 3 years of experience.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
Work Environment:
  • Must be able to work in a team environment including working in hot, dusty, windy areas for prolong time periods.
  • Be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction
  • Be capable of climbing and working on equipment at a 10 feet above ground limit
  • Be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
