Material Coordinator (Supply/Maintenance)

Location: Fort Bliss, Texas
Technica is recruiting for a Material Coordinator (Supply/Maintenance) to work on a Government contract with a place of performance based out of Ft. Bliss, TX.
 
Job duties include, but are not limited to:  
  • Coordinates and expedites flow of material (repair parts, assemblies, petroleum and etc.) within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors’ priorities.
  • Verify, receive, process and issue materials received from the Supply Support Activity (SSA).
  • Move material to the correct location. Establish locations as required for material received.
  • Rotate stock as required. Receive, store and process turn-ins if serviceable and unserviceable material. Use forklift, electric or pallet jack for heavy items.
  • Issue parts to work orders, personnel, and researches parts for ordering/ receiving.
  • Process turn-ins at the SSA to include Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) and Product Quality
  • Deficiency Report (PQDRs).
  • Maintain, request and issue fuel for Maintenance Division’s equipment. Assists in validating stock quantities during quarterly inventories.
  • Correct error and exception documents.
  • Review and verify quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents.
  • Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment as required.
  • Constructs fiberboard or wooden containers to store or ship repair parts as required.
  • Packs, crates, stencils, weighs, and bands equipment and supplies as required.
  • Processes requests and turn-in documents at Sustainment level through warehousing section.
  • Assist with stock inventories and location surveys IAW established procedures.
  • Operates materiel handling equipment (MHE) as required.
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) log book.
  • Maintain a safe work record/ environment.
  • Performs other duties assigned.

Requirements:
  • Possess general knowledge of GCSS-A
  • Former US Army Automated Logistical Specialist (MOS 92A) preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have at a minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, and policies.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment including working in hot, dusty, windy areas.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction.
  • Must be capable of climbing and working on equipment at a 10 feet above ground limit.
  • Must be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card.

Physical Demands
  • • Lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 70 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 40 pounds
  • • Must be able to climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment
  • • Must be able to stand for at least two continuous hours
  • • Must be able to work in cramped areas for at least two continuous hours
  • • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, and snow and sleet
