Quality Control Inspector

Location: McGregor Range, New Mexico
Technica is recruiting for a full time Quality Control Inspector on a Government contract with a place of performance at the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) located in the McGregor Range, New Mexico area under Ft. Bliss, TX contract.  This is an exempt position and will report directly to the Quality Manager.

Work includes the following tasks:
  • Implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
  • Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions.
  • Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner.
  • Assisting ASP supervisor to develop inspection checklist for each functional area.
  • Assisting ASP supervisor to train and educate the work force on proper processes and procedures at the ASP.
  • Maintains Quality Control files.
  • Performs surveillance audits. 
  • Issues internal corrective action report for all non-compliant processes and procedures.
  • Assisting ASP supervisor with determining Root Causes of non-compliant processes and procedures.
  • Documents results of all inspections.
  • Uses technical manuals (TM), technical bulletins (TB), and written directives in the performance of all inspections.
Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of ASP operations.
  • Must be qualified in Ammo 62, 63, 64, 67, 12, and 45, as well as Pack 1A and 1B.
  • Must be proficient in Army Field Manual on Ammunition Operations and Ammunition Accountability.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Army Reg 350-4, Army DDESB and Federal Regulations.
  • Must be able to complete SAAS MOD training within 60 days of hire.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must possess a current and valid state driver’s license.
