Project Manager

Location: Fort Irwin, California
Technica LLC seeks to fill a Project Manager position to perform on a Government Contract with a place of performance under Fort Irwin, CA

Job Description:
·      Provide on-site project management 
·      Provide single point of contact for liaison between COR and contractor
·      Ensure successful completion of all mission operations in accordance with established policies and management goals
·      Perform reporting requirements, in accordance with the contract. This includes monthly performance reporting, inventory reports, weekly reports, TDY trip reports, inspection/timesheet reports, property reports, and any others relevant to the performance of this contract.
·      Meet/Communicate with the Government Customer on a regular basis regarding contract requirements. This position is responsible for planning according to increased output requirements in conjunction with Corporate Management.
·      Plan and advise contractors on work operations and execute mission projects
·      Plan, organize and instruct contractor personnel on supply and administrative functions, work techniques, and procedures
·      Determine and monitor contractor personnel requirements, establish work priorities, organize work schedules, assign duties, and instruct office, and packing/warehouse personnel on special requirements and high priority workloads
·      Ensure accountability is maintained for all government provided tools and equipment.  Promptly report lost, damaged, and/or destroyed supply items to the COR.  Provide replacement parts for lost government equipment
·      Investigate and determine cause for lost, damaged, and destroyed supply items
·      Determine future manpower requirements by updating reports related to the storage, maintenance, distribution operation, individual labor and attendance
·      Be on call to respond within two (2) hours for emergency or non-programmed requirements
·      Ensure all personnel and maintenance operations conform to federal/state/installation environmental, health, safety, fire, and security standards.
·      Have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the management of a multi-function operation.
·      Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive responsible management and leadership experience in military tactical and logistics related fields.
·      Must be able to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance by start of work. Experience working in a union environment preferred.
·      Must have a good working knowledgeable of Army regulations, systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines
·      Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines
