CIF Assistant Supervisor

Technica LLC seeks to fill a CIF Assistant Supervisor position to perform on a Government contract with a place of performance at Ft. Bliss, TX.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Performs as the Supervisor, Supply Operations with overall management and supervisory responsibility for the operation of the Central Issue Facility (CIF).
Performs as supervisor for all aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to a depot level, or installation level supply activity. Work usually covers Table of Allowances 50 (TA-50) (Army-issued individual equipment) and must be capable of dealing in many commodity areas or functional areas in a planned customer support and priority based manner.
Is supervisor and can serve as deputy manager logistics in the Supply and Services Branch and controls, in the absence of the manager, the entire branch operations. Tasks include oversight supervision and managing of the six various departmental areas. Management is based in terms of priority completions, with concentration focused on the current and long term evaluation of the customer support mission, separate departmental managerial difficulties, and the complexity of performing in budget with limited manpower resources.
Understands that the amount of responsibility delegation that is appropriate for each segment of operations is constantly reevaluated based on mission completions and positive customer feedback. The work generally involves multiple case problems or supply actions resolution in a timely manner. This work may require consideration of several program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines, based on mission completion goals and objectives.
Supervises daily supply operations and leads others in the performance of all tasks assigned to include the receipt, issuing, storing, and maintaining of all TA-50 at the Central Issue Facility (CIF).
The ideal candidate must be extremely customer focused and capable of long range planning, analysis, and the ability to understand budgetary constraints while processing the following additional requirements traits:
(a) A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
(b) An understanding of the needs of the organizations serviced and their overall mission completion concerns.
(c) Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary data, to establish the applicable facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of systematic established guidelines.
(d) Must have several years experience in and with military supply and logistics systems at the Brigade or above levels.
(e) Demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using US Army LIS and computer automation equipment. Specifically, Installation Support Module (ISM)
(f) Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance to perform duties and attend classified meeting and briefings, this is a minimum requirement both as the senior supply operations supervisor and Deputy Branch Manager.
(g) Performs other duties and additional duties as assigned.
A Bachelor or higher degree in business, management, logistics or the equivalent civilian/military service schools graduations or prior supervisory experience (normally 8 plus years) to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related tasks.
Physical Effort:
Performs some duties in a high stress office environment based on mental abilities and decision making with very little actual physical effort required. Performs considerable amounts of duties in a warehouse or storage yard under the below listed working conditions. Must be capable of multiple tasking and organizing work force to perform missions that may require the supervisor to do a limited physical demonstrative example of tasks required to complete the mission.
Working Conditions:
Performs most duties in an office environment with suitable climatic controls and normal office equipment. Is required to consistently perform duties in a warehouse or storage yard or in field or ammunition storage area consisting of dusty, dirty and possible hazardous materials exposure.
